The team just retuned home from showing at one of our favorite venues, Brownland Fam! Success was had by all of our horses and riders and we are so excited to head into the second half of summer with Pony Finals and Zone Jumper Finals on the calendar.
Stella owned by David Richards started us off strong with a win in the Welcome on Thursday morning! Huge thank you to Dani Grice for showing Stella.
Stella and Dani continued to build on their success by winning the 1.30m stake class on Friday. Congratulations to David Richards on the continued success of your new mount. Stella was bred by US based breeder Coves Spring Farm.
Caroline “Ticky” Goodrich and Clovermeade Zurch took home champion in the combined small/medium ponies and will be heading to Pony Finals in August. Thank you to the Clovermeade Team on such a wonderful pony.
Lillian Ballagas and new mount A Royal Obsession had a great first show together picking up a champion on Friday and great rounds all weekend in the low children’s hunters. We are excited for Royal to spend the next year teaching Lillian the ropes.
Lou Gidiere and Courageous rounded out their year together with a champion this past week! Huge thank you to Dani and Elizabeth for letting Leo live with us the past year. We will miss him greatly.
Finishing out our week back in the jumper ring with Anne Kingsley Shaul and her own Geronimo! They took home top honors in the $2000 1.0m Jr/Am Jumper Classic. We want to wish this pair the best of luck as we head to Tryon next week for Zone Jumper Finals.
