AHJA is a wrap for 2025!

Last weekend we loaded up and attended the AHJA Year End Show with 24 horses!

Just some of our wonderful highlights include:

Caroline “Ticky” Goodrich, Carlyle Brown, and Courtney Chandler snagged 3 out of the 4 Best Rider Awards for their respective rings.

Rose To Victory (owned by Lydia McCay) was dubbed Best Turned Out for the $2500 Hunter Derby out of 43 horses! Thank you so much to our amazing grooms for helping be sure our horses look their best at all times. These awards are made at home with a solid feeding program, daily groom, and attention to details.

Tressie Grace Walvatne and Pumpkin Pie took top honors in the $250 2’ Handy Challenge and Courtney Chandler and Cup of Joe took home the win the $250 Beginner Handy Challenge.

Willow Harrison & Excel Star Caruso took 2nd place in the $250 High Jumper Stake on Saturday afternoon

Ticky Goodrich won the AHJA Equitation Cup with Mae Moody taking 6th place. This class consists of all the first and second place rides in the children’s ponies, regular ponies, pre-child/adult, child/adult, and jr/am equitation for the overall year end standing and asks them to have a flat phase and a jumping phase to determine the winner. Brynn Smith won this award last year and we are so excited to add another Fox Lake Farm rider to the trophy.

Ella Aderholt and Vivienne Kelly made callbacks in the AHJA Junior Board Equitation challenge and both placed in the top 10!

Bow Tie (Ella Aderholt), HM Beaulieu (owned by Julia McAdam and ridden by Abby Beaty), Peppermint Patty (Carlyle Brown), Lilly (owned by Fox Lake Farm ridden by Ellie Brabston), and Blank Space (Gilly Goodrich) all qualified for the Undersaddle Invitational with Bow Tie taking 8th place as one of the top movers at the show.

We had countless tri colors, ribbons, and lots of lessons learned!!! We will take two weeks off from showing to celebrate Thanksgiving and spend time with family then Jen will head out to WEC Ocala for two weeks of showing in December.
