We had the opportunity to celebrate our 2021 season at the Alabama Hunter Jumper Association Year End Awards Banquet. We had a great time seeing all of our AHJA friends and celebrating with our barn family. Our riders worked hard this year with many of them reaching their 2021 riding goals!
Our riders brought home 16 champion and reserve champion honors this year between the local circuit and USEF circuit offered by the AHJA. Our riders also won numerous other placings and awards.
Abby Guillory & Brynn Smith made it a 1 and 2 kind of night by taking champion and reserve champion honors in the long stirrup equitation.
Guerry was awarded the Jerry Morrison Award for service to the AHJA.
Dylan Martin was awarded the Pat Hoyle Sportsmanship Award and tied for the “Rise” Service award with Morgan Hurd.
Sydney Velazquez & Caredan Z had a stellar year taking home both the children’s hunter and children’s equitation perpetual awards.
Brynn Smith was awarded The Spirit of The Horse for her hard work and dedication to this sport and the horses.
