Junior Hunter Finals 2021

Congratulations to Lillian Reynolds and Mimi Colette Frei on an awesome Junior Hunter Finals 2021!

Mimi Colette placed 7th in the classic and 8th in the undersadle with Backstreet Boy in the younger small 3’6” junior hunters.

Lillian and Kavalier G had solid and respectable rounds each day. This was both horse and rider’s first appearance at junior hunter finals.

Mimi Colette and Jus D’o placed 19th in the classic and 17th in the handy of the younger large 3’6” junior hunters.

We were also happy to Julia King and C Beyond back with us for another week! Thank you Cornerstone Equestrian for sending her with us.

Nashville Country and Nashville Classic

We love showing at Brownland Farm and we can’t think of a better way to start our summer than spending two weeks showing at the Nashville Country and Nashville Classic!

Julia McAdam and Cinsational were champion in the older children’s hunter during the Nashville Country.

Mimi Colette Frei and Esperanza Import’s Backstreet Boy picked up reserve champion honors during the Nashville Country.

Mimi Colette also rode Jus D’o to solid ribbons in the large junior hunters each week.

Rachel Leddy and her own Revali made a return to the show ring after taking some time to finisher her undergraduate degree at the University of Alabama. This pair had solid rounds each week and picked up a win during the Nashville Country.

Sydney Madden and Picture Perfect had another successful weekend brining home a reserve champion in the pre-children’s hunters during the Nashville Classic.

San Man DASH and Kate Knowles made the move up to the 3’3” A/O hunter during the Nashville Classic.

Con Air and Morgan Madden had a stellar weekend laying down great rounds in the older children’s hunters.

Maggie Blackstone and Pumpkin Pie have been on a roll! This adorable pair took home reserve champion during the Nashville Classic.

Hannah Banks and Cypre’s RC showed both weeks bring home strong ribbons each week. This pair picked up a reserve champion in the pre-children’s jumpers at the Nashville Classic!

We are are looking forward to our AHJA Jumper Show this weekend!

Congratulations Seniors!!

We are so very thankful to have a strong group of young ladies who choose to call Fox Lake Farm home. Our entire staff loves watching our riders grow up into wonderful people. This past May four of our wonderful young ladies graduated from high school!!

We wish them the best of luck with all their future endeavors and hope they never forget they always have a place to call home at Fox Lake Farm!

Fox Lake Farm Spring Horse Show

Earlier this month we had the pleasure of hosting our annual Alabama Hunter Jumper Association horse show! Thank you to everyone who attend our Fox Lake Farm Spring Horse Show, we are looking forward to seeing you next year. Scroll through some pictures and highlights from the day.

Romney Velazquez & A Timely Affair won all 5 of the adult hunter classes and was 5th in the $500 Fox Lake Farm Challenge.

The Fox Lake Farm ladies dominated the pre-child/adult hunter division taking champion (Pamela Adam & Escalido) and reserve champion (Sydney Madden & Picture Perfect) and winning the equitation over fences (Bates Moody & Wonderland).

Julia McAdam and Cinsational had a clean sweep of the children’s hunters winning every class! This pair was also 2nd in the $500 Fox Lake Farm Challenge.

Morgan Madden & Con Air had a successful day in the children’s hunters picking up ribbons in each over fences class. They were also 7th in the $500 Fox Lake Farm Challenge.

Our long stirrup riders won every class between the 3 of them! Cecilia Daigle on Secret’s Out took champion, Brynn Smith on Jolly took reserve champion and Abby Guillory with Gabriel won both the equation on the flat and equation over fences.

Abby Guillory was also awarded “Best Child Rider on a Horse Ring II”.

Hannah Banks and Cypre’s RC had a fun day playing hunter!

Sophia Latham and Best Kept Secret had some great rounds in a very competitive short stirrup division.

We are also so very proud of our lesson program students who showed up ready to ride. Congratulations ladies on all your hard work!

Spring Clinic

We had the absolute pleasure of having Stefanie Collier come to town for a three day clinic! Thank you Stefanie for a fabulous weekend and thanks to Guerry for catching some great action shots.

Gulf Coast Winter Classic V & VI

Jen packed up a small but mighty crew and spent two weeks at the Gulf Coast Winter Classic held at the Harrison County Fairgrounds in Gulfport, MS.

Lillian Reynolds and Kavalier G kept up with their winning ways during the two weeks of showing! This duo was reserve champion in the younger 3’3” junior hunters during week V and they were also reserve champion in the 3’3” junior hunters during week VI. Lillian also won the USHJA Hunter Seat Medal 3’3” and took 3rd in the Hamel Foundation NHS 3’3” Medal.

Anna Brett Hyde and Carele made great strides a team over the two weeks. The pair won a child/adult jumper 1.15m class each week and picked up a 6th in the classic during week VI.

Backstreet Boy was champion in the younger small junior hunters week VI! Thank you Avery Wegmann for the excellent riding. Avery also piloted Jus D’o during week VI to solid ribbons in the younger large junior hunters. Mimi Colette rode both horses to good ribbons during week V.

Julia McAdam and Cinsational had a solid two weeks picking up great ribbons in the older children’s hunters and taking 3rd in the NAL/WIHS Classic week V.

Cypre’s RC continues to teach Hannah Banks the ropes in the jumper ring. This pair received solid placings both weekends.

The team is home for a few weeks before we ship out to Brownland Farm for two weeks of showing at the end of April.

AHJA Kick Off Show

Mattie, Guerry, Chance, and Amy packed up 18 horses and headed down to Auburn for the 2021 Alabama Hunter Jumper Association Kick Off Show.

Friday started off with Pamela Adam and Escalido being reserve champion in the schooling hunters out of 24 horses!!

Bates Moody and Wonderland rounded out our Friday by taking 2nd place in the $1500 Hunter Derby.

Saturday was full of success for Team Fox Lake From, from the jumper ring to the ponies our team picked up some great prizes!

Kate Knowles & San Man DASH were champion in the Adult Hunters.

Juliet Blakeslee-Carter & Jolly were champion in the long stirrup hunters on Saturday

Sydney Madden & Picture perfect placed 4th in the Undersaddle Invitational.

Kate and San Man DASH paired up with Mary Grant Baumbach from Blackjack to take the win in the $500 Pairs class. Lydia Guffey & Limerick and Sydney Velazquez & Caredan Z made a great team coming in second place!

Brynn Smith rode Secret’s Out to reserve champion in the long stirrup hunters and a 6th place finish in the $250 AHJA Challenge.

Abby Guillory attended her first Kick Off Show and piloted Fox Lake Farm’s Gabriel to some awesome ribbons in the long stirrup hunters. This pair also picked up 7th place honors in the Junior Board Equitation Challenge- pony ring held Sunday morning.

Sophie Crane picked up 3rd place in the Junior Board Equitation Challenge out of 19 riders. She and Burlington rounded out their weekend by taking reserve champion in the .85m jumpers and a 4th in the jumper classic.

Sophia Latham and Best Kept Secret made the move to the sort stirrup hunters this weekend and pulled out a win in one of the short stirrup equitation over fences classes. Sophia also placed 8th in the Junior Board Equitation Challenge - pony ring out of 16 riders.

Bates Moody and Wonderland wrapped up their weekend by being champion in the pre-child/adult equitation out of 20 riders. Pamela Adam & Escalido were hot on their heels taking reserve champion.

Winter Fest 2021!

Team Fox Lake Farm had an exceptional outing at the 2021 Winter Fest at Chattahoochee Hills at the end of February.

Lillian Reynolds & Kavalier G were champion in the older children’s hunters and won the $500 NAL/WIHS Children’s Classic. Lillian and G also won the Taylor Harris Children’s Medal.

Jan Hauser and Anna Brett Hyde’s Carele won the $7500 Open Mini Prix on Saturday night. Way to go Jen and Carele!

Caredan Z & Sydney Velazquez was reserve champion in the children’s hunters and was sixth in the $500 WIHS/NAL Classic.

Caredan Z also took reserve champion honors in the low hunters with Chance Williams in the irons.

Julia McAdam and her own Cinsational took 2nd in the $500 WIHS/NAL Children’s Hunter Classic.

Romney Velazquez had her first show on Balladeer. They brought home solid ribbons including a win the first round of the pre-child/adult classic.

Maggie Blackstone & Pumpkin Pie tackled their first A show together and picked up ribbons in every class, even taking a win on Saturday.

HITS Ocala

Jen and Chance spent two weeks at Hits Ocala last February. Our horses and riders made great progress towards their goals for 2021!
