Welcome Sara Littlefield!

Fox Lake Farm would like to welcome Sara Littlefield to our hard working team! Sara comes to us from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Sara graduated from the University of South Florida with a major in International Business. Sara has experience in the pony, hunter, jumper and equitation rings. She competed on an IHSA team in college, has been a working student under some top trainers with experience at all of the major horse shows and Florida Winter circuits. On her own she qualified and competed her large green pony to a 14th overall placing at Pony Finals. We can't wait for everyone to meet and work with Sara. She is a talented rider, knowledgeable teacher and a role model for all of the riders in the barn.

First show of 2016 is in the books! It was nice to get back to showing after some time off. Clayton Mullis and Capito were reserve champion in the pre-children's hunters with Annie LaRussa and Escalido close on their heels. Hagen Blackwell and Rollingwood's Lemony Sticket picked up reserve champion in the small/medium ponies at their first show together! Hagen had an equally good weekend with Flyer Miles in the small/medium ponies. Abby Beaty and Via Dolorosa were champion in the 1.10 Children's Jumpers and Abby moved up to the junior hunters with her horse Third Day. Cynthia Hallman also made a move up this past weekend to the 3'3" A/O Hunters with her own Fig Street's Duchess. Salter Hydinger had great rounds with both Honor and Motivation. Katie Habeeb and Simply Red had good rounds and ended up 4th in the children's hunter classic. Huge thank you to Madison Massey for the pictures!

This was their very first show together and Annie's first time showing a horse. Keri Rankin and Constellation were reserve champion in the middle adult amateur and Hagen Blackwell and Flyer Miles kept up with their winning ways and brought home another champion ribbon in the small pony hunters. Rachel Dees and Fleetwood showed their skills by competing in both equitation classes and their usual 1.10 children's jumper classes. Rachel won the Southeastern Children's Medal and was 2nd in the THIS Meal. Abby Beaty made the move to the jumper ring with here new mount Via Dolorosa. She and "Vinny" also picked up some ribbons in the equitation classes. She was second in the Southeastern Children's Medal and was 4th in the THIS medal.
